The prices for room rents in these bungalows start from Rs 150 and go high up to Rs 500 depending upon the room quality and facilities offered. Thus, the room rent charges are quite reasonable; however one should also know beforehand that the Howrah Zilla Parishad bungalows do not offer AC rooms.

Inside the bungalow there is also a beautiful park where people can enjoy picnics. For picnics the entry fee per person is Rs 3 and for car parking it is Rs 150. The park opens at 7 AM and closes at 6.30 PM so one must reach here between these timings if they are planning to have a picnic at this picturesque place.

How to reach Garchumuk from Howrah

The distance between Howrah and Garchumuk is 52 Km. Travelers can take a train from Howrah and get down at Uluberia. It will hardly take 45 minutes. Thereafter, one can take a bus, jeep, trekker or ambassador car to reach Garchumuk. One can also drive a car along the Mumbai road to reach Uluberia. After that from Uluberia one can arrive at Garchumuk by driving on the local road.
